When I was a junior high school student, my parents have some Golden Retievers and showing them, Then, My first Basset Hound was in 1992. The dog was my first show dog and he showed very good that finished JKC and FCI champion and got #1 Basset in Japan for two years. Then I started breeding with him.
I went to college that studying Biology in the USA and went to dog shows. I have been a BHCA member for more than 20years. When I watched some shows at the first time in the USA, I was so impressed about so many beautiful Bassets. Especially, I can’t forget how much I impressed when I saw CH. Barnyard Cellblock Sally at the first time. Then, I could take one of her Offsprings to Japan and had bred dome generations. I learned so many things as a breeder from my mentor breeders. I couldn’t be with any Bassets without their help. After I graduated college and worked in the USA for a while, then I came back to Japan with some Bassets from USA, and have started to show and breed in Japan.
I finished more than 40 JKC champions, FCI champions and AKC champions and would get more. Recently, I am trying to show my Bassets to BHCA nationals from Japan, one of my beautiful bassets whose name is CH. Happy&Country Barnyard Moon Pie got Reserve Winners dog at 2016. And AM.JKC.CH. Happy&Country Long Island Ice Tea got Winners dog at 2023 BHCA Nationals.
As far as my judge career, I have started from 33years old. It took long time and still keeping updating. I have judged many times in Japan, the USA, India, Philippine, South Africa, Australia so on. I have enjoyed my judge career, too and have judged many breed in the all-breed show. I started my judge career just because of dreaming to judge at BHCA Nationals one day. I am so happy to be a judge of the show. What a honored! Thank you for voting to me. One of the biggest my dream come true. I will do my best and enjoy judging!!
Thank you.
