I purchased my first AKC show dog in 1986. I started out in conformation, which I still do today. But quickly became involved in Obedience. Then came along Agility. After that I became involved with hunting and the AKC Spaniel tests. By the early 2000’s I had three of my English Springer Spaniels earn the Versatile Springer award through the ESSFTA parent club. Currently I have English Springer Spaniels, Boykin Spaniels and Flat Coated Retrievers. We show, compete in hunt tests, Scent Work trials, my son does the agility now, dock diving, fast cat, fetch and the family dog program. I have been judging AKC Spaniel Hunt Test since 2003, and judge Fetch, CGC, Tricks. I am a provisional judge for the novice and advanced scent work program.
